This is a classic 9-day trek starting from (Drukgyal Dzong) Paro and ending at Dodena near Thimphu . The route passes through two high passes from Jangothang. The views of Jhomolhari mountain (7,314 m) from Jangothang is spectacular. The trek is strenuous and is very popular. The highest point is 4,115 meters. The best time for this trek:

Recommendations: The Trek is relativelt difficult requiring good physical fitness. Few weeks training is advised and a physical fitness check-up is must.
